This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App.

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the App's functionality.

a. Account data (if you sign in)

• authentication identifier (e.g. Apple ID token)
• basic account-related information

b. Usage data

We collect limited, non-sensitive usage data to understand how the App is used and improve the experience.

This may include:

• interactions with the App (e.g. translations requested)
• app usage patterns (e.g. reading sessions, feature usage)
• basic technical data (e.g. app version, device type such as iPhone or iPad)
• anonymous identifiers generated by the App

We do not collect personal content such as book text, selected words, or translations for analytics purposes.

c. Text data (for translation)

When you use translation features:

• selected word
• sentence containing the word
• source and target language

We use your data to:

• provide translation functionality
• improve the App experience and usability
• analyze how features are used
• operate and maintain the App

We do not use your data for advertising or tracking across apps.

The App provides two types of translation:

a. On-device (Free)

• processed entirely on your device
• no data is sent to any server

b. AI-powered (Pro)

• selected text (word + sentence) is sent to our backend
• processed by third-party AI providers
• used only to generate translations

We do not use this data to train models.

• reading data and books are stored locally on your device
• we do not store your full books on our servers
• translation requests may be processed temporarily but are not stored long-term
• usage analytics data may be stored in aggregated or event form without sensitive content

We may use third-party providers to operate the App, including:

• AI providers (for translation)
• Apple services (authentication, payments)

These providers process data only as needed to deliver functionality.

If you are located in the EU, you have the right to:

• access your data
• request deletion
• restrict processing

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated version.
